Tests are offered in both the STARSkate and CompetitiveSkate streams of figure skating and are challenged at the recommendation of coaches. Skaters who pass a test are obliged to compete at that level. Coaches put their skaters up for tests when they feel their skaters are ready. Since the pass requirements are not often indicative of the level of competition, little is to be gained by challenging a test before a coach feels that the skater is ready. 

Tests days are hosted by a Club, and are open to skaters from any sanctioned Club. Test day are classified as  low, intermediate or high. For more information about taking tests please contact the Test Chair.
